Lochside Villa - Staffin

Free WiFi was a lifesaver since there's no one around to talk to. The private parking was great, especially because I had to park my fancy car in a puddle. And the towels.well, they were definitely towels.

The nearest airport, Benbecula, was just too convenient. I enjoy a good road trip, especially when I have no idea where I'm going.

My stay at Lochside was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The comfortable beds and splendid furnishings made for a cozy stay, especially when we could start a fire on chilly nights. The bathroom with its impressive tub and the breathtaking view from the upstairs bathroom added a touch of luxury. Walking into a warm house with lovely flowers and a bottle of wine was a delightful surprise. And the peaceful, fantastic view of Loch Mealt in the morning was truly magical.

The property does not have nearby dining options, so guests should plan to purchase food on their way or drive 30 minutes to Portree for restaurants.

What a view! I felt like I owned the entire sea and mountain range from my villa. The complimentary WiFi was a nice touch, although I didn't need it because I was too busy enjoying the scenery.

My husband and I stayed at the beautiful Lochside Villa for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The location was stunning, with sheep grazing outside the window while we relaxed in the tub. We were welcomed with complimentary wine upon arrival, adding a special touch to our stay. The high tech amenities, including a tablet to guide us through everything, were impressive. Plus, the property felt cozy and like a home away from home, with clean and well-presented accommodations. And let's not forget the incredible view of the stars at night - absolutely breathtaking.
